Summers County 91, Webster County 40

HINTON — Call it grand larceny. The Lady Bobcats grabbed 38 steals Friday en route to a 51-point win at the R.T. Rogers Oil Classic Girls Basketball Tournament on their home court.

For Summers County (3-0), Brandi Morrison scored 32 points, stole the ball 12 times and added eight rebounds. Brittney Justice had 20 points and 11 boards. Brenna Davis had 10 points and 11 steals. Webster County’s top scorer was Kendall Riffle with 15 points.

The Lady Bobcats will play Clay County tonight at about 7:45 p.m. in the tournament championship. Webster County and Pocahontas County meet at 6 p.m. in the consolation game.
